Durable
Beta titanium is very durable and does not deform as easily as acetate, the most common material used in horn-rimmed glasses. A single sheet of beta titanium is cut and folded to make the frame. The rim and bridge is welded to minimize breakage.
Safe
Beta titanium is harmless to the body, often used in artificial bones or dental implants. Silicone is wrapped around the temple to prevent possible allergies and slipping. The silicone air nose pad is there for the same reason.
